Immediate Care is proud to announce we will be sponsoring an event for Parents of Autistic Children. POAC is hosting an Autism Tree Wine and Paint Party on Friday, March 3. The event will be held at Lacey Community Hall and doors open at 6:00pm. Immediate Care was able to contribute 75 gift bags towards the event and donate tickets so more parents and children can attend the event. The event will be guided by artist Liz Paseler to help those participating create an Autism Tree portrait. This is a night for friends and family to paint, bring food, snacks and drinks while supporting a great cause.
POAC is a non profit organization that is dedicated to helping children and adults with autism achieve their fullest potential by providing quality education, support and recreation at no cost to participants. Additionally, POAC supports ongoing quality research and promotes legislative issues that impact those with autism and their families. New Jersey has the highest rate of autism in the entire country with 1 out of every 41 children born today having autism. For more details on the event you can contact j.lotito@comcast.net.
