Dear Resident,

I am pleased to announce that I, along with the Marlboro Township Council, and in partnership with Immediate Care, have arranged to have a COVID-19 mobile testing truck for Marlboro residents only.  The mobile testing truck is located in the parking lot of the Recreation Center. Currently there are eleven (11) testing days scheduled beginning this Saturday and continuing into January.

Testing is administered by Immediate Care in conjunction with Synergy Labs/Capital Health. The testing is drive up, no appointments are needed and you do not have to be symptomatic.  Results are sent via email within 72 hours.

The FLYER includes dates and times of testing, the QR Code, an on-line registration form for those without a smartphone, as well as what is required to expedite the process.

In addition to practicing social distancing, wearing a face covering and frequent hand-washing, the CDC continues to emphasize the importance of testing. While many people with COVID-19 have mild or no symptoms, it is still possible that they could be infected and pass the disease to friends, family and loved ones. Meanwhile, others don’t know that they’ve been in close contact (within 6 feet of an infected person for at least 15 minutes) with someone with confirmed COVID-19.

A Mobile Testing Facility for Marlboro residents ensures that our community has access to testing, even in times of peak demand.  For easy access, this letter and the flyer with the QR code will be posted on the homepage of the website.

Please be safe, follow CDC guidelines, keep gatherings small and stay close to home.  We are seeing the light at the end of this very long tunnel.

Yours in community,
Mayor Jon Hornik
