Background: Yasmin has been with Immediate Care since 2023 and is excited to be a part of the Immediate Care team. She just moved to New Jersey, from “The Big Apple”, NYC, where she was born and raised. She has been in the medical field for almost 10 years and loves every bit of it. First starting as a Medical Assistant, then shortly after becoming an Endoscopy Technician assisting providers during procedures. She then quickly grew to become a Practice Manager, overseeing 3 sites and a surgery center.

Background: Salvatore F. Cannizzaro is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Immediate Care Medical Walk-In Management, LLC.
At the young age of 24 years old, Sal founded Innovative Folding Carton Co., a printing business which is now owned by WestRock. After years of sustained growth and several relocations, Innovative purchased a building in South Plainfield, New Jersey. Sal managed the complete renovation and subsequent 35,000 square foot expansion of this building, ultimately creating a showcase 100,000 square foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Innovative Folding Carton Co. grew to be a very profitable, highly-respected printer that employed 270 people; In 1998, the company was sold to a venture capital firm.
That same year, Sal founded SFC Enterprises, Inc., a real-estate and property development company. As the President of SFC, he is responsible for the overall management and development, as well as setting the company’s entrepreneurial vision and strategic direction.
Over the years, Sal made timely investments throughout the region and managed the development of these properties. He also managed the construction of his own substantial personal residence in exclusive Monmouth County, NJ. From residential developments on the Jersey shore to commercial properties in the Bronx, Staten Island, and New York City, Sal continues to grow the business while bringing value to local communities. Sal’s devotion to the community and to his businesses make him an ideal leader and entrepreneur in today’s emerging business world.
In 2012, Sal was one of the first in New Jersey to create and combine urgent care with primary care in the same location. He established his first management services company, providing non-clinical management and administrative services to primary and urgent care practices in Hazlet, NJ. The Immediate Care Walk-In Center of Hazlet hit the ground running, seeing over 12,000 patients in the first year. With these types of results, Sal saw this business opportunity in New Jersey. His ambition and vision were to open as many centers as possible. Having the real estate and construction background and support he needed, Sal knew establishing the centers was not the issue, but more so finding the right doctors.
Currently, Immediate Care provides employment to 121 team members including physicians, advance practice nurses, management professionals, radiology technologists, and medical assistants.
Immediate Care Medical Walk-In centers are located throughout New Jersey in seven locations, including Brick, Edison, Hazlet, Red Bank, Marlboro, Toms River, and East Windsor. Hazlet and Red Bank offer primary care services, while all of our centers offer x-ray services.
During this period of growth for Immediate Care, SFC Enterprises continues to expand its services. SFC is a commercial property development and management company with a niche in the healthcare market. In addition to the Medical Arts Complex in Marlboro, New Jersey, SFC has constructed a 25,000 square foot medical arts building in Freehold, New Jersey. This community health center is home to a strategic partnership amongst CentraState Healthcare System Inc., VNACJ, Inc. (Visiting Nurse Association Health Group), and Rutgers University’s Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. This medical arts building will serve as a federally qualified health center (FQHC). Further, SFC is adept at economically and efficiently building and fitting out medical facilities.

Background: Richard joined the Immediate Care team in 2015, with his expertise being inclusive of processing payroll for multiple entities across a wide range of employment types, accounts payable/receivable, and preparing budgets on a yearly basis for all entities in the Immediate Care Family. Richard started as a Junior Accountant for Immediate Care and was quickly propelled to the position of Director of Finance for the organization. Over the course his tenure at Immediate Care, he has taken much of the responsibility of managing the entire accounting department.

Katie has extensive management experience and has managed 5 of our offices, including the primary care office of Golding Granado Medical Associates. Katie serves as our Practice Administrator and is responsible for providing the overall leadership and management in our seven offices.

Since graduating, Anastasia has worked in Higher Education from Catering to Marketing and has extensive had managerial experience within the food service industry. She joined the team at Immediate Care in the beginning of 2023 as the Marketing Manager.

Background: After a successful career in restaurant/hotel management, David made the transition to Human Resources services, and was a Human Resources/Recruitment Manager before joining Immediate Care, with experience in staffing, conflict resolution, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and scheduling.

Amanda will be working with our Director of Operations and the entire corporate team on a variety of topics related to quality control, compliance and risk management. She holds degrees in Health Care and Business Administration, and has extensive experience in Data Support and Document Control, inside and out of the HealthCare field.

Background: Alex joined the Immediate Care team in 2021. He has spent most of his career in public accounting where he assisted senior accountants with tax preparation for individuals and business entities. Alex currently focuses on posting and processing journal entries, updating accounts payable/receivable, performing reconciliations, as well as many other accounting projects.

Jackie comes to Immediate Care as Assistant to the CEO with extensive experience across a range of office settings. These positions include Office Manager at Micro Image Technologies and Executive Assistant at the US Department of Homeland Security. She is also an avid equestrian, maintaining professional status in that community.
